The Minister VONG SOTH: Every youth must study when the country is at peace and must stay away from drugs.

His Excellency VONG SOTH Minister of Social Affairs, Veterans, and Youth Rehabilitation deliver a message to all Youth to urge that youth must spend their effort to expand their knowledge, while our nation peace and development in all sectors, especially the yough need to stay away from drugs and other pernicious hate society and cause harm to repay Family, friends and the community what is important is it’s damaged the future.

The admonition above for the youth was made while Mr. VONG SOTH and his management team visited a young girl who was being treated at the National Center and Rehabilitation of Drug Addicts on July 6, 2017 in Kok Rokar district, Prek Pnov Commune, Phnom Penh City.

According to the report of Mr. VET RADAl president of the National Center for Treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts, said that as of June 2017, the center received victims of consumption amounted to 743 people (Female 71), in which the number of volunteers treatment is 54, Provincial of social affair Capital City of Phnom Penh and organization are 32 people volunteers in the presence of prosecutor 657 and integration 563 people (Female 55) completed the detox treatment and rehabilitation, to families and communities 119 people (Female 27) were sent to organization and hospital 18 people (3 Female) to maintain continuously and is currently stay at accommodation centers 180people (Female 16).

The Minister added that the treatment and rehabilitation is very important for victims of substance abuse so that administration officials here are guided and awaken spiritually with children staying and receiving treatment to make a firm determination to break the drug and strengthen its capacity to go back to the community and build a new future.

Meanwhile, Minister VONG SOTH also grateful for the support from the Cambodian government, especially Samdech Kraleahaom SOR KHENG, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, which has always supported the center and recently Samdech also provide $ 30000 for repairs buildings, residence halls for training, material used electrical network planning can be victims of substance abuse 250 people.

That occasion, Minister VONG SOTH also sponsored some materials and 300,000,000 Reil to the center.

On After reviewing, the Minister and the Delegation continued to inspect another construction site which is being constructed for the maintenance of elderly people in Phnom Penh Pur Senchey district, which has reached 70 percent and is due to be launched soon.
