Sec. Em Chan Makara Looking for Development Partners to Help Children with Disabilities

Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and Secretary-General of the Disability Action Council (DAC), Em Chan Makara, distributed 20 wheelchairs donated by the people of Japan to the disabled at the National Center for Infants and Children on August 16.

Sec. Em Chan Makara Encourages Youth with Disabilities to Compete Internationally

The Secretary General of the Disability Action Council organized an online IT competition for young persons with disabilities on July 25 and 26. Four lucky winners will be sent to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to compete in a live IT competition from October 24-29, 2023. Five other competitors will be able to participate in the competition online.

KAMPONG SPEU: Secretary of State for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation, Em Chan Makara, stated that all persons with disabilities have the right to choose their jobs freely, enjoy decent and favorable working conditions and benefit from assistance programs for the unemployed.
