In the afternoon of July 24, 2013 at MoSVY H.E. Ung Sambath, Deputy Director of DAC-SG representative of H.E. Em Chan Makara, Executive Director of DAC-SG had a meeting with Dr Caroline Ellison, Department of Disability and Community Inclusion Director and a Senior lecturer of Social Science at Flinders University in Australia.

Ms Brown’s main purpose is to assist PhD. and Masters students to learn about disability in Cambodia, especially children with disabilities. She said all students met with ministries, institutions and NGOs who have been working in the disability field nationwide during the 3months from June to August 2013.

H.E. EM Chan Makara informed the guests about the growth of DAC; DAC came from a Local Organization to be a disability coordination mechanism of MoSVY and now DAC is a senate secretary of the Royal Government on disability with added components, roles and responsibilities in accordance with the development of disability in a national and international context.
