PHNOM PENH: The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth (MoSVY) and Secretary-General of the Disability Action Council (DAC), Em Chan Makara, has urged all media outlets to participate in disseminating achievements in the field of disability in Cambodia to the public, both inside and outside the country, saying that the recent advances in the field of disability are a testament to the realization of rights, and leaving no one behind.

PHNOM PENH: The Program Appraisal Committee for the Accelerating Disability Rights in Cambodia (ADRC) program held a meeting to present the final program document and seek comments to guide the program’s implementation on Thursday morning (28 April). The ADRC is a United Nations (UN) joint program between the UNDP, OHCHR and UNESCO, with technical support provided by the ILO, and fully funded by the United Nations Partnership to Promote the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNPRPD).

PHNOM PENH: The Secretary of State for the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation and Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of Disability Action Council, Em Chan Makara, has said that Cambodia is committed to adhering to the principles of respect for basic human rights, especially the rights of persons with disabilities, to build the necessary foundation needed for the successful implementation of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the country.
